About

Writing erotic romance is the chance to explore passion, sensuality, and intimacy. The challenge in a story, just like in real life, is passion and sensuality must mature if the love that blossoms is meant to grow and thrive.

So it is with my stories. What does it mean to write erotica, erotic romance, or romantic love stories?

I have discovered it is not enough to describe a kiss or a touch to the breast but to capture the full range of sense and emotion that accompanies the actions.

I’ve lately been considering new ways to tie together love, eroticism, and sexuality–in whatever degree that may occur, whether understated or more descriptive. Each of the elements exists in healthy relationships–or the elements have the potential to exist.

Love, eroticism, and sex are like stories in a play of the character’s life–drama, the unknown, and even laughter.

My first erotic story was perhaps no more than two pages long, scribbled on notebook paper and tossed aside. I remember the topic but excuse me for not sharing it with you. That story was written many years ago in the era of Harold Robbins and Jacqueline Susanne.

My writing had more of a test in university with fiction and playwrighting and then I set it aside to pursue journalism. I’ve refined my journalism to focus on writing interviews with business owners and give more attention to the craft of writing fiction.
