Hopefully, if you did buy a copy you’ll see this but the version prior to Feb 11 wasn’t the one I meant to have and I need to replace it.

I’ve got new Ms. Chanton’s Castle stories ready to write up and I look forward to developing them and the wonderful Ms. Chanton and her story on she turned her estate into a BDSM haven.

In addition, in the next quarter I see writing prequels and sequels to Layover, Riding Shotgun, and Getaway.

We’re not robots and shouldn’t the subtle kiss — lips brushing against each other and the rustling of clothes coming loose generate passion in us even though we’re creating the story?

But we must fight our own arousal — and write beyond the distraction to bring the characters to life in a way that engages the reader and translates the fantasy in our minds to those who engage in the story.

My erotic short story, Ms. Chanton’s Castle Threesome in the Study, is now available through Barnes and Noble Nook, Kobo, Diesel ebooks, and Smashwords.

I’ll be creating more in this series and I have a work-in-progress on how and why Ms. Chanton turned her estate into a pleasure palace. She really is quite a lady.

Here’s an excerpt from Threesome in the Study:

Sheri reached for her glass of wine, took a sip, and thought her husband must relish in the triumph of having finally created a homemade sexual fantasy game. She put the wine glass back on the table. The thick carpeting cushioned her knees. Each slight movement of her thighs caused her g-string to rub more tightly against her clit. The evening to her was like rubbing two sticks of wood together to ignite a fire and light a pile of dry kindling. Waiting for the flame to catch created an erotic anticipation and delight she couldn’t have imagined, not even on their honeymoon.

Thomas leaned on one elbow, naked except for silk boxers underneath a silk robe. “You’re so right, my dear. Perhaps there is a flaw in my creation.  An opponent means only one of us can win.”

Sheri leaned forward with her legs tucked under her round ass. “I certainly won’t go down without a fight.” She shook her chestnut colored hair to one side over her shoulders and used her lips to nuzzle Thomas’ ear. She blew soft puffs of air when she kissed and he groaned almost immediately. Sheri let her lips linger, barely touching them to his ear lobe. She nibbled slightly and wanted to reach underneath his robe and touch his boxers to fondle his erection.

“Wow, babe. I’m always amazed how a delicate kiss can have such power.”

Sheri smiled. She took a longer draw on her wine and reveled in the intoxication of her sexual prowess, her husband’s delight, and the chance to reinvigorate their sexual desires after two decades of marriage. “Your turn, sweetheart.”

Thomas tossed the die. “Four.” He picked up his piece, a condom in its foil wrapper, and counted the required spaces. “Share your fantasy with your opponent.”

Sheri laughed. “For the next version of the game, darling, you’re going to have to change that to lover.”

Thomas smiled. “Let’s think of this session as test marketing.” He held the card in his hand and looked at Sheri. “Share your deepest fantasy that you’ve never talked about.” He sat up, took his wine and sipped it. “I had hoped you would have gotten this card.” He set his wine glass back on the table.

“Oh?” Her husband had such romantic inclinations that pleasant surprises often waited for her. What fantasy could he share? He had spoken to her about traveling to a nude resort in the Caribbean or having kinky bondage equipment installed in their bedroom. Having two children in college made either scenario possible.

Thomas shifted so he sat next to Sheri and kissed her on the lips. “My deepest fantasy I’ve never shared is I want you to have sex with two men.”

Sheri stiffened and her breath caught in her throat. She studied Thomas’ eyes, searching for a clue to this statement being one of his jocular moments. But he  focused his gaze like he had pondered the request for some time. “Is that so?” She wanted him to grin and laugh. But he didn’t.

Bear with me while I do. It will interrupt the many hot stories I have floating around inside my imagination and the many works-in-progress.

But I’m looking up another tutorial so I hope to make progress.

I have prequels and sequels in store for Layover, Riding Shotgun, Getaway and Ms. Chanton’s Castle. I just need to tidy up the space first.

I liken it to a silky robe falling lightly over a woman’s body or silky shorts clothing a man in a seductive state. The clothing adds a layer of mystery and longing for those who see it – making us desire to touch and engage our senses.

Fashioning a sensuous language of kisses and caresses takes time and the writer should be in no more of a hurry to write it than a reader should be to finish the passage. The desire to continue the story, and the desire to finish reading it, should be an organic pleasure and not just a task on the to-do list.

Erotica that can rise above the pressures that would otherwise force us to move quickly and speedily along is the erotic language worth reading.

Work-in-progress

I’ve also started writing the story on Ms. Lillian Chanton and how she has opened her estate in the hills above Los Angeles to those who want to explore their sexual fantasies. This will be the prequel to the current story and set the stage for the rest of the Ms. Chanton Castle series.

The series will contain stories that are erotica but also novellas that hold closer to the romance/erotic romance genre.

In the opening of my new story, Ms. Chanton–a former model and successful lingerie fashion designer–is deciding whether she should follow through on her desires to open her home. She is discussing the idea with her friend and domme Lady Marvella.

Ms. Chanton is trying to determine why she should, or should not, open her home like a BDSM Inn and if she could cover the expenses involved:

“Oh, there goes the entrepreneur,” Lady Marvella sighed. “Is life all about profit and loss for you?”

Lillian Chanton pondered the question and her first reaction was gratitude for a friend willing to discuss the future for her estate … “No.” A new realization flooded her being. “It’s about people–and their dreams–and the desire for beauty.” She found herself back at the windowpane, studying the array of designs from the rain.

“And a haven to fulfill fantasies.” Lady spoke quietly and crossed one leg over the other.

Thanks to those who are following my posts here and a hello to The Elusive Muse. She has some wonderful writings on her site. I’m finally getting around to adding your links to my blogroll. No one ever accused me of being a fast learner!

I had a thought about why I like writing erotica and it has escaped me a bit. I’m sure I’ll get it back in a short while. One reason, though, is it allows the writer to explore relationships in ways we never dare discuss in public. How many of us ever get to describe a kiss to a co-worker or a family member during the holidays?

Hmm, maybe I should try to do that next year!

I simply couldn’t get to the writing because of serious disruptions with — kids. On one hand, I wish I could head full tilt into explaining the sleepless nights and range of emotions. But would that completely detract from my stories and my fiction?

While I’ll keep the commotion close to my heart, I know I can work the emotions and elements into future stories and the lives of characters.

Being tugged away from writing may also be a test of how will I do when returning to the stories. I can certainly say I’m excited about the prospect of creating more and developing new depths and insights.

I see delving into the world of Ms. Chanton’s Castle for future stories as well. The woman is quite amazing. A place like that had simmered in my mind for quite a while. Living in the foothills above Los Angeles, there are many old estates that seem perfect for an erotic setting to explore for erotic readers of all tastes.

Ms. Chanton’s Castle: Threesome in the Study has elements of eroticism blended with BDSM and a hot MFM encounter.

I published on Smashwords after hearing and reading so much about the publishing platform. I believe there’s a time and place for self-publishing on Smashwords but I don’t see doing so exclusively.

There are additional stories in the works for Breathless Press, too, where I’ve published three stories to date.

Power out since Wed and prob won’t be on until Mon. Finally, found a space in Pasadena to connect online for a bit I tried to posting to Twitter. But the Twitter account then said, oops try again in a minute. I kept signing out and signing in to no avail.

So this is a brief note to say, I’ve not disappeared nor have I been abducted by aliens. I’ve been writing and working on a bdsm-themed story, about 7,000 words, that I hope to publish on Smashwords in the coming week.

I’m also working on my next stories–a follow-up to Layover as well as sketching ideas for follow-ups to Riding Shotgun and Getaway that I’ll publish through Breathless Press.

We’ll have power back on Monday … I’m hoping by Sunday.
