Memories of a Kiss @MySexySaturday #MySexySaturday #MSSWeek15

Always glad to join My Sexy Saturday. Ever have a kiss that stuck with you and you couldn’t shake the memory? Jessie Carter has that feeling in the opening chapter of Arrival. Before you read it, click here to get back to the blog hop.

EXCERPT

A quick dip and bump from a change in altitude woke Jessie and opened the door to an instant replay of last night’s kiss in New York. She had fallen asleep during the flight’s midway point, somewhere over Kansas, and the slumber had given her a few hours respite from the memory.

Her spine stiffened from the thought of her lips brushing his and tension in her arms remained from where she had held his chest returned. She had stolen the kiss like a thief swiping jewels, dashed out of the car, and zipped through the hotel doors in a vain attempt to escape her own passion. She had a better chance of outrunning her shadow.

The kiss took center stage in her thoughts and overpowered a damning critique from the online magazine Fashion Wrap. Maybe that was a blessing since judging a reality television show was more of a favor to a friend than an important career step.

Read about Jessie in the early phase of her career and personal exploration in the novel Boarding, available on Amazon, Breathless Press, All Romance Ebooks, or Bookstrand.

Lovely introspective…and yes…I’ve had that kiss that never left my memory. Good thing I snatched up the guy who gave it to me!
