Sunset on Summer Fun blog hop featuring my stories and two lovers

hop-summer-september-1Welcome to the Sunset on Summer blog hop with a chance to win fun prizes, including my erotic stories. *blush*

Click here to return to the hop after you’ve read my original bonus selection below. At the hop, you can enter for a chance to win a Kindle Fire or Nook HD along with other great prizes.

This is based on a true story that’s not true at all. I made it up—like fiction. Egads! I do hope you have a sense of humor. This illustrates the passion my stories strike in lovely women and handsome men everywhere.

After reading the selection comment for a chance to win either:

1 copy of my novel Boarding, a bit of erotica set in New York City featuring a young fashion designer

OR

A collection of my 3 stories: Layover, Riding Shotgun, and Getaway

Everyone who comments and leaves an email address will get free copies of the first 3 chapters of Boarding.

And now for my fictional true story about two lovely people who love my books:

Caroline dipped her toes in the stream, one last chance to soak in the waning days of summer, before the frost and winter froze the water into its seasonal stillness. Justin found her and settled on a the same log where they shared their first kiss a year ago.

“Hey, glad I found you.” There was still enough heat in the day to make him perspire and he ripped off his T-shirt, revealing a brawny chest and the bronze skin from the past few months of working the fields.

Caroline smiled. He was so thoughtful. “Yeah, me too.”

“Whatcha doing?”

She shifted and lay a head on his denim clad thighs. “Thinking.”

“About what?”

“Him.”

“Oh?” Justin stroked her hair. “You mean—”

“Yeah. His books we read this summer.” Sadness filtered through her.

“We can read them this winter, too.”

Caroline smiled. “It will be like keeping him with us all year.”

Heat radiated through Justin. “Even naughtier.”

“What do you mean?”

“We can lie in bed, read, and pretend he’s right there with us.”

Caroline laughed. “Like a threesome.”

“Absolutely.”

“Oh, thank you, sweetheart. DD Symms is my favorite author. No man writes erotica like he does. He writes his stories just like a woman would.” She moved to Justin’s thigh, straddled it, and wondered what story they would read first. “How about Getaway?”

“You mean the one about camping and sex in the mountains?” Justin lowered his voice like lust trapped his sounds in his throat. “I have a better idea.”

“What?” Caroline giggled and rubbed her nose against his.

Boarding. It’s Book 1 in The Jessie Carter Fashion Series and so incredibly hot.”

Caroline brushed her lips against his. “Marvelous, darling. Just marvelous.”

Note from DD Symms

      Hi Jean,
Lol! Thanks for commenting. I’ll send you 3 chapters of Boarding and I hope you enjoy them! Yes, the fictional “true story” tickled me and it’s a bit unorthodox I know.
