My male-male romance short In His Sights has been accepted by Breathless Press for its Flirt line. Yea! BP’s got terrific editors and I’ve always appreciated those who have combed through my work. It’ll run between 7,000 to 8,000 words when it’s done and it deals with a young enlisted man who becomes an expert in detecting improvised explosive devices (IEDs) yet his best friend and lover at the same base is killed on duty when a roadside bomb is detonated.
This story gave me the chance to dig deep into the emotions of a character and pair him with another man breaks through the shell he has created.
My stories are available through the Breathless Press site. Check it toward the end of each week for great sales.
What are you reading? Currently, I’m reading Jennifer Probst’s Executive Seduction. An enjoyable story and I like how she uses details to create an erotic tension between the characters. It’s a good study in what really makes a romance tilt toward the erotic. There’s definitely the classic tension between the woman and man—the two differing people who don’t belong on the same planet and yet they’re pulled together.
It’s nice to be back on the site here and updating you with my fiction.
