Boarding – True Friends are Life’s Greatest Pleasure

Jessie Carter is in New York City when she gets the chance of a lifetime: to design a dress in one day for the model she reveres, Veve Rouselette.

Jessie’s entrepreneur boyfriend, Raymond, fears losing her to a pursuit of fruitless dreams and wants her to settle for a position in his high tech firm.

She finds herself attracted to the bisexual lover and assistant to the model’s manager, Callan Delongpre, who encourages her talents. With sensual tastes and raw sexuality he shows Jessie a world she only fantasized about.

In a race against the clock, Jessie must conquer her boyfriend’s challenges and a gossip columnist’s mission to destroy Veve’s reputation.

Intro to Excerpt

One of the great things about being a designer is Jessie puts together her own lingerie in unique and creative ways. In this scene from Chapter Three, she is staying in a five start hotel near Central Park. She is on a webcam with her boyfriend since he is in a different city.

Excerpt

In a drawer was original lingerie she designed using a man’s white tank top, cut to expose her abs, and a silk tie with red and black stripes sewn strategically in the middle to enhance her cleavage.  Red ribbons were sewn in two rows, one under each area where her breasts would touch and she sewed a line of red silk at the hem to give the appearance of a border and contrast to her peach-tone flesh. It was a gift and a surprise for Raymond for the next time she was with him, but Jessie was too excited to wait.

“Okay, ready.” She wiggled to get as comfy as possible.

“Me, too.”

The web cam had come in handy at least twice before in LA when he had worked late, once when she coordinated wardrobe on a film set, and another time when she had worked until closing in her part-time clerk position at Nordstrom’s. They were too tired to see each other but the technology bridged the inconvenience.

Jessie tilted the screen. “Hey, handsome.” His chestnut-colored hair and the way it swirled along his forehead was one of several arousing elements. Her breasts lifted the material away from her body and invited a stare above the tummy, an intoxicating tease for her as well as him.

“Beautiful.” His eyes beamed.

“Thank you.” His appreciation gave her a sense of overall well-being.

“Miss you. Mu-ah.” He smacked his lips together.

Jessie giggled, slowly ran her tongue along her lips, and groaned with delight.

She pointed a finger to the screen like she was touching his hair. “Miss you, too, babe.”

Warmth like water simmering in a saucepan roiled her insides. He had late meetings for more than a week before she left on her trip and she hadn’t flirted with any guy in London.
